We made it home safe late Sunday night. We drove through the everglades so I could finally catch some alligators (we saw lots!) and got sort of side-tracked in Miami trying to find a place to park (we eventually gave up, but we wasted like an hour and a half) so it took forever to get home. We left about 6:15 that morning and got home at 11:45pm. Then we had to get up early (like 7am) Monday to return the rental car, Shane called in work to take the day off. When we got home from running errands we conked out for about 3 hours. I also slept about 10 hours last night, and after I went on a waaaay too long walk for how tired I am I conked out another 2 hours. I slept through the therapist here with my mom, a nurse coming and going, my dad knocked on my door...for those of you who know me at all this means I AM REALLY TIRED!!
so vacation was nice, It was great spending a longer length of time with Shane's grandparents and his uncle's family, so I'm really grateful for that time.I feel a little bad for how much everything cost when we have responsibilities here, but I am glad we went because who knows when we will get to do it again. actually we really did not spend very much money at all, but shane had to miss work too so that makes it more difficult. we are hopeful he will be able to get more hours because things are really busy at the farm. so we're working hard to try to get everything straightened out here financially and with our car and everything else...but I also have a lot of peace right now. I feel really sobered by the Lord and am trying to be attentive to Him and not worry about anything else.

I know that sick feeling when you've spent too much - not really too much but more than you had to. This trip zapped the last of our savings so we now understand the feeling of making less each month than your bills are! :P I will be able to sympathize even more.
